Terms of use

Draft for owner review · Not published. These website terms require confirmation of the operator and commercial details before launch. Package-specific terms must be available for review before any purchase.

This website introduces Cheq Yourself’s research and administrative evidence support. It explains the scope of that support and helps visitors choose a webinar, inquiry or package. This preview is not an offer to provide emergency assistance.

1. Information and documentation support

Cheq Yourself helps individuals locate and organize records, build chronologies, prepare source indexes and identify missing documents and open questions. Website content is general information. It is not property-specific legal advice.

Cheq Yourself is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation, court or tribunal advocacy, surveying, title-insurance advice, mortgage advice, investment advice or tax advice. Nothing on this website creates a lawyer–client relationship.

2. No guaranteed interpretation or outcome

Records must be considered in context. A Crown Grant, chronology, notice or documentation package does not automatically establish a legal right, remove the application of legislation or regulation, or bind an institution. No particular interpretation, exemption, acceptance or outcome is guaranteed.

Letters are clarification requests, not title cures. Cheq Yourself does not resolve Aboriginal title or issue or guarantee an Indigenous land patent.

3. Urgent matters

If you face a dispute, enforcement notice, transaction, limitation period or filing deadline, promptly consult an appropriately qualified professional. Do not delay necessary advice while waiting for a webinar, reply or research package. The public inquiry process is not an emergency channel.

4. Inquiries and service scope

Keep an initial inquiry brief and non-confidential. Do not upload or send sensitive records through the public homepage. Submitting an inquiry or making a booking does not, by itself, confirm acceptance of an engagement, its scope or a completion date.

Any engagement should identify the work to be done, client responsibilities, available records, deliverables, exclusions, price and payment terms. Deliverables depend on the agreed scope, records available and package selected. Record availability and completeness cannot be guaranteed.

5. Packages, payments and separate services

The Assert Your Crown Grant documentation package, presented as the Land Protection File, is $1,499 CAD per property. The basic-package button opens Stripe directly. Review applicable taxes and the final total before authorizing payment. Trust setup and documentation support is a separate service at an additional $1,000 CAD if accepted after review. It is considered only for an ongoing land issue, is not recommended for everyone, and cannot be purchased through this homepage. Buying the basic package does not guarantee acceptance for trust documentation.

Trust documentation is educational and documentation support. It is not legal, tax, estate-planning or trust-law advice.

Before publication: confirm final scope, applicable taxes, turnaround expectations, cancellation and refund terms, and the payment-to-intake process. Those terms must be clearly available before purchase.

6. Your records and use of the website

Provide accurate information and only records you are entitled to share. Keep original records and check the accuracy of any information supplied. Do not use this website to submit unlawful material, disclose another person’s confidential information without authority, or interfere with its operation.

Images of dossiers, folders and survey records on this site are illustrative. They are not representations of a completed client matter or a guaranteed deliverable.

7. External services and availability

Links to the land website, booking provider and payment provider lead to separate processes. Review their applicable terms and privacy information. Website information may change, and availability can be affected by maintenance or technical issues.

8. Legal Disclaimer

9. Applicable rights and contact

Nothing in these website terms is intended to exclude a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about the website or a proposed engagement can be submitted through the inquiry form.

Before publication: confirm the contracting legal entity, business address, effective date and any applicable governing-law provision with qualified review. Do not infer those facts from the domain name.
